This free, family-fun event offers a costume parade, food trucks, bluegrass band, mead & beer garden, vendors, crafts, native plants, speakers, farm animals, games, crafts, education for native plants, pollinators, and more. 2024 marks the 4th annual Manassas Bee Festival at Liberia House, a 19th century historic property near Downtown Manassas, which will be open for self-guided tours.
New this year: 2K Honey Hike starts at 9:15 a.m. from the Manassas Museum Lawn to hike to the event at Liberia! A tractor shuttle will also provide free rides from the Manassas Parking Garage (9102 Prince William Street, across from the museum lawn) to the festival at Liberia and return rides back to Historic Downtown Manassas.
Manassas is the first city in Northern Virginia to receive the Bee City USA® designation. This event brings awareness to plant native and save declining pollinators.
