Buzz into the City of Manassas for a SWEET-AS-HONEY experience! 2026 marks the 6th annual Manassas Bee Festival at Liberia House & Grounds, a 19th century historic property. Enjoy a bluegrass band, food trucks, mead & beer gardenvendors, crafts, native plants, speakers, farm animals, wagon rides, games/prizes, bounce house, education for native plants, pollinators, and more. Plus, local brewery, Sinstral, will sell their honey lager beer. Dress like a pollinator and join the custome parade! You can even learn the waggle dance.
From 9 a.m.-3 p.m., a tractor wagon shuttle will transport visitors from Downtown Historic Manassas in front of the Manassas Museum lawn to Liberia. Or, follow the yard signs to take a self-guided 2K "Honey Hike" from the museum to Liberia. The event is free with no tickets required. Liberia House will be open for self-guided tours.
Manassas is the first City in Northern Virginia to receive the Bee City USA® designation. This event brings awareness to plant native and save declining pollinators.
