Manassas Bee Festival
June 26 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm| Free
There’s a buzz in the City of Manassas! Come enjoy the Inaugural Manassas Bee Festival. Get outdoors and celebrate Pollinator Week! There will be live music, mead and beer garden, and food trucks.
Dress like a pollinator and learn the waggle dance for our costume parade of bees, butterflies, bats, beetles, birds, and small mammals — flowers are welcome too.
Learn how to save the declining pollinators — we need them for our growing food source!
The full schedule includes a family spelling bee challenge, games, arts, crafts, activity workshops, porch talks, a native plant display, beehive demonstrations, butterfly houses, and local vendors. Plenty of parking at Public Works with a quick ride to the festival on the Flutter wagon.
Walk the nature trail or bring a chair and blanket to enjoy the park. Ribbon cutting for the Liberia House native gardens and proclamation for Bee City USA designation at noon!
