Mark your calendars for the FIRST FRIDAY of the month (February through November) when Historic Downtown Manassas transforms into a giant party! Bring family and friends to enjoy the charm of our City.
Streets close so pedestrians can freely stroll through Historic Downtown, listen to live music, and find special promotions and offers at our restaurants, cafes, and shops. Visitors can enjoy our Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA), which is active from 5:30-9:30 p.m., allowing consumption of alcoholic beverages for those 21 years and older within designated signage areas during the City's First Friday events. (Please, no glass or cans allowed, only plastic cups with DORA logo from participating establishments are permitted.)
