Celebrate Hispanic heritage with Latino artisans, food vendors, folklore dance troupes, dance lessons, Zumba, DJ, a Puerto Rican band, a 14-piece orchestra, and an engaging kids' area. The parking lot at Metz Middle School will be transformed into "villages" that cater to different areas of interest. A collaboration of Georgetown South Community Council, Manassas City Public Schools, and Rise Ministry, this festival is an opportunity to educate, inform, and empower attendees, especially our Hispanic participants, with what the City and the greater Prince William area has to offer. It's a wonderful way to learn more about the countries comprising what we call “Hispanic” because they are all separate and distinct with their own traditions and customs.
