Flags for Heroes, an annual event since 2016, is presented by Bull Run Rotary Club. Opening ceremony is Nov. 6 with a continual American flag display through Nov. 14 on the Manassas Museum Lawn.
Honor heroes by sponsoring a flag with a tax-deductible donation; corporate sponsorships are also available. Unsure of who to honor? Bull Run Rotary can choose a local recipient on your behalf to receive the honor and accompanying certificate. Funds raised will benefit the Warrior Retreat at Bull Run in Haymarket, a retreat house in the foothills of the Bull Run Mountains for wounded military and their loved ones.
