Gather on City sidewalks to peacefully stand up for life. Since 1987, Life Chains in cities nationwide form to make a public, prayerful stand for life on the first Sunday in October. Participants stand silently, holding signs, and will be evenly dispersed along the roadside.The Life Chain in Manassas is a public gathering on Sudley Road from about Early Street northwestward to Godwin Drive and the City boundary line, and beyond in Prince William County as far as Rixlew Road; both sides of the road will be used, but only in short stretches.
