Flags for Heroes, an annual event started in 2016, is presented by Bull Run Rotary Club that provides a patriotic display of American flags on the Manassas Museum Lawn with an opening ceremony Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m. and flags will be on display through Nov. 16, 2024. Honor heroes by sponsoring a flag with a tax-deductible donation; corporate sponsorships are also available. Unsure of who to honor? Bull Run Rotary can choose a local recipient on your behalf to receive the honor and accompanying certificate. Funds raised will benefit the Warrior Retreat at Bull Run in Haymarket, a retreat house in the foothills of the Bull Run Mountains for wounded military and their loved ones.
