From 6-9 p.m., we close off the streets to traffic and open them up to pedestrians (and our furry friends!) so visitors can sip and stroll through our Historic Downtown. Entertainment at KidZone at Harris Pavilion includes Hippo Chow Down (tug-o-war game) from Big Country Amusement, Game Corner (corn holes and giant Jenga), and Free Kids Goody Bags. Local food trucks will provide a variety of food choices, plus Manassas Volunteer Fire Company, Greater Manassas Volunteer Rescue Squad, and City of Manassas Animal Control & Shelter join in the fun.
Visitors can enjoy our Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA), which is active from 5:30-9:30 p.m., allowing consumption of alcoholic beverages for those 21 years and older within designated signage areas during the City's First Friday events February through November. (Please, no glass or cans allowed, only plastic cups with DORA logo from participating establishments are permitted.)
