Freedom Museum tells the courageous stories of local men and women who served on the battlefront and homefront from World War I to the present — the soldier on foreign soil, "Rosie the Riveter," children of wartime, and those who made the supreme sacrifice for their country. The museum interprets the struggle to protect our nation’s freedom through the stories of ordinary Americans-turned-heroes documenting their valor, exploring their contributions, and evoking a renewed sense of American pride. The Local Heroes Memorial recognizes the fallen men and women from the City of Manassas, City of Manassas Park, and Prince William County who died in wars from WW I to present.
