Historic Downtown Manassas Virginia is always an unforgettable destination. For weekend romantics or families on holiday, whether it’s a fascinating tour through the battlefield or a leisurely day trip, Manassas offers a lot to do.
Imagine a climbing gym with towering 50 foot high walls, long graceful arches, chimneys, overhangs, dihedrals, aretes, cracks and slab walls to challenge every climber's ability physically and mentally.
This Romanesque revival courthouse, designed by James C. Teague and Philip T. Marye was completed in 1893 and served the country until 1984 when a new courthouse was built nearby. The old Manassas Courthouse was the site of 1911 Peace Jubilee where President Taft stood on the grounds to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the First Battle of Manassas.
