March 12, 2020 – COVID-19
Historic Manassas, Inc desires to ensure the safety of all event attendees and downtown patrons. Following the leadership of Governor Northam for all localities to limit large events based upon consultation with local health departments, the decision has been made that large events over the next 30 days that are coordinated by Historic Manassas, Inc are cancelled. This includes the Sip and Shop on Saturday, March 14th and also April First Friday on April, 3rd.
The Farmer’s Market opening dates will move to Thursday, April 16th and Saturday, April 18th. One Love: Art & Music Festival, scheduled for April 24th & 25th, will currently go on as planned and the public will be notified of any date changes, as we monitor the situation.
We believe that these cancellations and reschedules are the safest course of action and Historic Manassas, Inc. will continue to keep the public informed of any additional changes or cancellations.
We do welcome you to continue to enjoy the restaurants and shops of Historic Downtown Manassas, and remember that almost all restaurants utilize delivery services, and the shops have online ordering. If you plan to patronize any of the local establishments, please check directly with the locality on their store hours and operations.
It is our greatest concern that all patrons and visitors of Historic Downtown Manassas would remain safe and healthy during this time.
Thank you for your support of Manassas, and we look forward to enjoying many more events in the months to come.
