Have you ever wanted to be a part of the “behind the scenes” of Manassas’s staple events? Make new friends, serve your community, and have fun as an event volunteer with Historic Manassas, Inc.!
Historic Manassas, Inc. hosts eight events each year that require volunteers in order to ensure their success. These events include: Live Well Festival , Railway Festival, Wine and Jazz Festival, Celebrate America, Bands, Brews, and Barbecue, Manassas Fall Jubilee, Haunted Happenings and Merry Old Town. Each of these events have their own volunteer needs and have jobs for people with all abilities.
There are two volunteer shifts for each event, usually a morning and an afternoon shift. All positions will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Every attempt will be made to fulfill your requested shift and position; however please be flexible. All volunteers will need to be over the age of 16, excluding Wine and Jazz and Bands Brews and Barbecue, where all volunteers must be over the age of 21. If you are interested in volunteering for an event please contact Erin Beckman
Visitor Center Volunteers
When domestic and international visitors plan their stay in Manassas, their first stop is the Visitor Center. The friendly faces of volunteers are here to greet and guide visitors. If you love Manassas, would like to meet new people from all over the world, and are a “people” person, you may be a great fit as a Visitor Center volunteer.
