Rooftop Productions presents You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown on Fridays and Saturdays, May 5-20 at 8pm at the Kellar Theater at the Center for the Arts, 9419 Battle St., Manassas, VA. This delightful musical based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz, touches the kid in all of us. The adventures of Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, Patty and Snoopy feature the trials and tribulations of childhood through baseball, flying aces, music, rabbit chases, book reports, crushes, misunderstandings and, ultimately, the things that truly make us happy. The outstanding cast includes Aaron Verchot-Ware as Charlie Brown, Jay Tilley portrays everyone’s favorite dog, Snoopy, Laura Mills appears as Lucy, Patty is played by Debbie Franck, Ryan Walker appears as Linus, and Schroeder is played by Nick MacFarlane. This amazing ensemble of actors brings a lively and fun-filled production to the stage.

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown is directed by Rooftop’s Artistic Director, Ted Ballard, choreographed by Kristine Worley, and musically directed by Daniel Holmes. The book, music and lyrics are by Clark Gesner. It was originally produced in New York by Arthur Whitelaw and Gene Persson and directed in New York by Joseph Hardy.
