Neverland awaits for all those who are young or young at heart, as Pied Piper Theatre brings to life James M. Barrie’s captivating classic tale of PETER PAN. Fly away with Peter to the land of the lost boys, pirates, Tiger Lily and Captain Hook! Enjoy the familiar and popular songs “I Won’t Grow Up,” “I’ve Got to Crow,” and “I’m Flying.” This rousing musical, complete with a pirate ship and 45 of the area’s most talented young actors, will entertain the entire family.
PETER PAN will be presented on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 2pm and 7pm and Sunday, January 21 at 3:00pm. Performances are at the Hylton Performing Arts Center, 10960 George Mason Circle in Manassas. Purchase tickets at the box office or order tickets on-line at Group tickets for organized groups such as scouts, school drama clubs, and church groups are also available by calling the Center for the Arts at (703) 330-2787.
Directed by Kelly Glyptis with music directed by Veronica Sharpe, Peter Pan is a musical based on the play by Sir J.M. Barrie with lyrics by Carolyn Leigh, music by Morris Charlap with additional lyrics and music by Betty Comden, Adolph Green, and Jule Styne. The show was originally directed, choreographed and adapted by Jerome Robbins.
